MORE LINKS ABOUT BUILDINGS AND FOOD

On 'Desperate Housewives', Wisteria Lane includes houses used numerous times throughout the years in other TV shows and movies. Their names include the "Hardy Boys House", the "Leave it to Beaver House", the "Providence House", and the "Animal House".

It has been incorrectly thought that these houses were the original neighborhood for "Leave it to Beaver". But this is impossible as the houses aren't anywhere near where they once stood in the 1950s. They have been moved and re-arranged and even destroyed and re-built numerous times since they were first bought by the city of Los Angeles which was going to destroy them to make way for Dodger Stadium.

It could be, however, that the blueprints for the original layout of the Fairview community could be from the same company which oversaw the development of the Mayfield neighborhood where Beaver Cleaver grew up.

And maybe it was a company for which Mike Brady used to be an architect.....

Hopefully it wasn't another 'X-Files' case in which the houses just picked themselves up and moved themselves around without anyone being the wiser.

That happened with the Seaver house from 'Growing Pains' when it moved from Long Island clear across country to Oakland in 'Hangin' With Mr. Cooper'.

And that's what happened with the high school in 'That's So Raven'. It used to be further up the coast in 'Saved By The Bell'.

It's bad enough when your food starts sassing you from the fridge.

How'd you like it if the Sirius Cybernetic Corporation came along and installed a personality into your home which scolded you everytime you entered without wiping your feet?

So far they're just moving themselves around. It's not like these buildings are actually eating their occupants or anything.......

Unless you count those reports from the Monty Python corner of the Tooniverse......
