My one big complaint about 'No Ordinary Family' is the distribution of powers in the family. The parents get the physical abilities - super-strength for Dad, super-speed for Mom. But the kids get the mental powers - Junior is a super genius while the daughter can read minds. Not a fair distribution when it comes to action scenes, but the mental powers were probably cheaper to produce.The teleportation ability employed by the bad guy in the pilot episode would have been a great power for one of the kids. But again, that was probably too expensive to do on a weekly basis.
Just sayin', is all......
