I just made this to try out some highlight effects on overland maps. I figured I should post it in case it might inspire someone.

The idea is that you would have a series of small images like this with various regions highlighted as you moved through a chapter of a setting book. I chose France just because I knew it would be easy to find a line drawing with the provinces marked out.
