December Gift

I agreed to marry my husband on the condition that he give me December Gifts.
There I said.
There was a condition to our marriage.
*sigh*
Ok rewind, that sounds bad.
My husband does not celebrate Christmas. He does not believe in this Commercial Holiday.
He doesn't believe in the whole gift giving commercialism of it so he has never celebrated this Holiday in his adult life according to him. So when we met I thought, oooookkkkkk, yeah. I buy Halloween stuff, Thanksgiving stuff, Christmas stuff, New years stuff, Valentines stuff, Easter Stuff, St Patrick's Day stuff.....you get the picture.
I *LUV* Holidays.
Especially Christmas, it meets my "Day off"requirement, it calls for hot chocolate and eating yummy stuff, everyone is generally extra sugary sweet on this day, AND I get gifts??? I'm there.
But sadly, he was not. That is until around year two when I convinced him it was sacrilegious for me not to celebrate Christmas and that I would compromise and call it a December gift{wink, wink} and not say it was a Christmas gift AND he could give it to me anytime in December.
Day one or day 31.

So when he asked me to marry him I told him this would have to be a permanent fixture and he agreed{ok so it wasn't a deal breaker but I had the good mind to ask...timing is everything!}.

Around this time of year, every year since 2001 I start to drop little hints on what he may want to think about possibly getting me. Now with this blog, I am taking it to new heights, my friends. I am going to start making it really easy for him to "think" about what he should get me...and the place, color and cost and link...hehe. I'm evil and I love the internet.

So here is my first post on December Gifts!

I saw this on the Origami Blog via Lotushaus.

Origami Lotus Necklace

Origami Bijou

You will see little tidbits here and there sprinkled in my post.
I think this is going to work out great!
