I have this thing about paper.
I love it.
I collect greeting cards and card stock and then when it comes to giving the cards out, I just keep them because they are too pretty to give away and the recipient won't appreciate them as much I do.
It's a sickness. I know this.
So when I got a call from Jeannette at Papyrus to help them out with a Bridal Event I was more than happy to help out!
honestly, I thought there would be some paper in it for me.
HAHA! Just kidding :)
no I'm not.
So Anyhow-
I am doing an in store event with Papyrus in the San Francisco Centre
at the end of this month and I will be providing flowers for their lovely brides to see in the store along with other vendors who will be bringing by dresses, cakes, custom printing and other fabulous wedding related items.
In the mean time I am dressing up one of their store display areas with flowers.
These cute journals will be changed to bridal stuff( so technical, I know) so that I can set up my flowers. : )
In this area I have been eying this ladder shelf stand
( ok, so I don't know why I am at a loss for words tonight, but in my defense, I provided a picture, lol)
and I am thinking I will make small cube centerpiece in different colors and place them one on top of each other on each level of the ladder. Pretty cute right?
So today I went in to deliver the first batch of flowers.
I hear yellow is the color of the year so I decided to start off this promo with bright yellow florals.
I used yellow daffodils, white mini daisies, lily grass loops, kermit mums, white, green and yellow carnations, asparagus, and some white statice.

The second arrangement I made was for the front counter.
I used orange rununculas and poppies.
I greened in my base with asparagus and bluperum.
I found this fabulous bark container so I was feeling very wild and woodsy with this arrangement.

The picture looks a little strange to me and at first I thought it was my camera lens but what's going on is that the poppies are so fuzzy, they look like they are in motion....freaky.
Here she is all delivered in her new home for the week. I'm glad I went bright because the new display is all white and silver and a white arrangement would have been washed out.
