On February 24th, whale trainer Dawn Brancheau with 16 years of experience training such whales, was killed during a show at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. Many first-hand witnesses had different accounts, such as the way the whale pulled her in: by her ponytail, by her waist, by her leg, or by her arm. Footage from a home video was brought to investigators but has not been released to the public. The rescue team couldn't save her because of the whales aggressive, raging state. She died from drowning & other injuries from the whale. The whale, named "Tilikum", was responsible for TWO more deaths in the past.. so the question is, why not take more precautions before dealing with KILLER whales? Food for thought!
