Ignorance

Here is a thought that I had whilst contemplating the Japanese earthquake.

In a medieval fantasy game, most people know fuck all about how the Earth works.

This has the potential for some pretty interesting situations, but as far as my personal experience it has never come up. When was the last time something happened that YOU the PLAYER know how it actually works in the real world but your CHARACTER did not?

How did you roleplay that?

Ever had a natural disaster happen in game? How did that turn out?
