Do I write fast?

I have spent about 3-4 hours writing today and I have turned out about 10 pages of text in 12 pt font. When I have been tested, I come in at about 80 words per minute typing. I think that helps me channel the thoughts onto the page faster.

I hear other people talking about their projects and I watch how stuff develops, I get the impression I am actually writing faster than most people in terms of pacing.

Is that the case?

I'm just trying to get a feel for it.
