Silver Wedding

My silver wedding is coming up soon and I am pretty excited to be able to be working with my couple because a) they are super cute b) I love the simplicity of white phalaenopsis orchids C) I get to use these cool moss mats I found at the flower market! :P


This is an Orchid hair piece that I will be making to put in her hair. It will be a little different than pictured, like the silver leaves will be pulled out, it will be more natural and simple.

This is the cool moss place mat I found at the Market! I bought them all out and hope to use them to place our potted orchid on top of.

The potted orchid is in a square container that is the wrong color but it is a semi mock up so she could see the ribbon wrapping I will be using. I think it's a great idea to use a potted orchid as a wedding centerpiece. This centerpeice will also serve as a living favor to someone because I think she will give it away to a lucky guest at the end of the night. She really loves hydrangeas so we will be incorporating the green hydrangeas in the base of the centerpiece instead of the usual moss.

Originally I had proposed using these little post and making mounds of moss with one phalaenopsis to sit on top. Kind of reminds of a butterfly!
