Black Friday occurs the day after Thanksgiving starting at approximately five in the morning. It is simply the best shopping day of the year. With slashing prices on everything in stock, this day attracts quite a large crowd each and every year. Many people may believe it is purely the adrenaline rush that attracts customers. Our family always plans the night before, getting only a couple of hours of sleep. We divide and concur from the second the doors open or the black tarp is pulled off of the merchandise. After we have bounced from store to store including Wal-mart, K-mart, Kohl's, and Menards, we reconvine at Niemerg's for a refresher and some breakfast at precisely nine A.M. After our rendezvous, we go back to the store for any last minute sales we might have missed.
Even though Black Friday is an incredibly fun way to Christmas shop, it can be very dangerous. Last year a man died by being trampled in a Wal-mart store when the doors were opened. It may be dangerous but I have learned how to wiggle through the crowds and it will always be a tradition in my family.
