4th Hour will be "appearing" on the radio this Wednesday, December 1st. We will be interviewed by Greg Sapp of 97.9 (WXEF) about our fundraising efforts. This was a fun event last year and I know the students will enjoy the trip to the radio station. While all three English II classes have brought in bags of loose change for the "Penny for the Guy" fundraiser, 4th Hour has turned in more than the other two class sections.
The bags of coins will be converted on 11/29 and/or 11/30. Last year's English II classes raised $869.02 for Catholic Charities (FISH/Christmas House). We're hoping to raise even more this year. If you would like to offer a last minute donation, please see Mrs. Cross in Room 107. Students can still donate spare change until December 3rd -- and we'll have our final total on December 6th.
Thanks to my students for all their efforts in this fundraising venture. As always, I am truly blessed to have giving, caring students.
