Eva was born in 1983 in Palermo, the prevalent city in Sicily. Her mother is from Germany, her father is Sicilian with Norman plunge (like most people in that place). She has 3 older sisters and a brother who died when she was 4.At 14, Eva was introduce to the fashion world by photographer Luca LoBosco. When she was only 17, the Italian magazine Corriere della Sera named her "the new Laetitia Casta" for the reason that her face (but not her body) is quite similar to Casta's.
