Get over it..

That's the title of an Eagles song that's buried somewhere my Morning Bike Ride iPod playlist that I love. It is a paean to whiners everywhere:
I turn on the tube and what do I see
A whole lotta people cryin? ?don?t blame me?
They point their crooked little fingers ar everybody else
Spend all their time feelin? sorry for themselves
Victim of this, victim of that
Your momma?s too thin; your daddy?s too fat

Get over it
Get over it
All this whinin? and cryin? and pitchin? a fit
Get over it, get over it
Well, this song, as the old AM DJs used to say, goes out to Barry in the big house on Pennsylvania Avenue.

On the anniversary of the first day after his election, in a Reuters article today, it seems our beloved Pantload-in-Chief is still singing the same old tune he ushered his term in with: I Blame Boooooooosh:
But he said his administration was also confronted with a "financial crisis that threatened to plunge our economy into a Great Depression, the worst that we've seen in generations."

"We had record deficits, two wars, frayed alliances around the world," Obama added.
To which I add: so how, exactly, have things changed since you took office? Why does one get the impression this pea-brained, man-child, narcissist will still be uttering the same mantra this same time next year. Which, of course, will make him look pretty stupid, if the 2010 elections go anything like the two recent governors' races in Virginia and New Jersey.
