Luck be a Lady Tonight!
I have another game for you.
It's called Oceans RPG. A simple Heist game, 11 pages.
DOWNLOAD FROM HERE
You roll 2 six-sided dice and distribute that many points across 11 attributes, ranging from Acrobatics to Hacking to Tailing. A very OSR-like design in terms of simplicity.
The GM gets a number of chips. They use a quarter to set up a ring of defenses, half to set up a vault, and keep the remaining chips to trip you up during play.
You get a number of days to plan and prepare your heist. Each day you can chip away at some of the defenses until finally the night of heist arrives and you pull off a dramatic theft involving a range of tricks, cons, and feats of skill.
Core mechanic involves rolling dice and then cheating your way to a lucky number 7. For each point of attribute, you can turn one die to be 1 number off. So you could flip a 4 to be either a 3 or a 5. Box Cars is auto-failure. Snake Eyes is critical failure, with police coming to snatch you away to the big house.
Simple, brisk pace, easy to understand, and quite possibly the coolest game in town.
It's fight night, baby. Cash in your chips!
