The Synapse Challenge

I know a lot of you out there on the interwebs think that you know it all. You have seen it all. You have figured this whole RPG thing out. You have a system that you like. You aren't interested in change.

Well, I am throwing down the gauntlet.

I have just re-released my first game, Synapse.

I challenge you, fair reader, with the simple task of creating a single character using this system. Just one. I'm not even asking you to play the game, mention it to your friends, even your spouse. You can sit down in a dark corner and nobody will even know what you have done. Just make a single character.

Synapse is not just an RPG, it is a model of the human mind. It is a powerful character building tool. I'll wager that you only need to make one character to realize it's power. To see what you are missing. To experience a different kind of RPG.

And if you make your one character and you still think the system sucks and you would never play it in a million years, write me a note and tell me why. I'm a big boy. I can take it.
