Osama Bin Laden Let The Dogs Out
THIS BLOG WAS COMPLETELY EMBELLISHED BY THE ASTON CANINES
Two weeks ago we were whisked away and shipped to upstate New York to a secret location, only identified by codename: Grama's. Then yesterday, in a similar clandestine operation as the one that was happening in Pakistan with the capture and whacking of Osama Bin Laden by an elite team of US Navy Seals, our Doggie Mom Ava swooped in with a helicopter and climbed down a rope, rescued us and carried us off to safety. Hurray for the U.S.A. Hurray for Ava!
Apparently what we learned from Grama, was that our Mom Ava was in some hot, desolate, sandy far, far away place called Pakistan Florida. Grama said the place is so hot your hair turns blue if you stay in the sun too long. It must also change your skin color, because when Mom came back her skin isn't as white as milk anymore. Pookie and Bobo kept asking Grama when, and if, Ava was coming back to get us. Grama said that Ava was on a very important "business trip" that was so top-secret she had to meet outside on the beach to ensure she was not being recorded or spied on. We just doggie smiled at Grama's cockamamie story. The four of us all knew good and well that was just a bunch of crap... but we just went along with it because we were able to mope around and pretend to be sad. Each time Grama saw us being sad, she gave us more kibble and treats. Truth be known, we were having the times of our doggie lives, eating more cheeseburgers from Wendy's than Mr. Bricks eats - but we didn't want Grama to catch on.
We had to laugh, because when Mom tried lifting us up the rope to carry us away to the waiting helicopter she said we were heavier and felt like four little fur covered meat loafs. (Thanks Grama, all those cheeseburgers and extra treats were yummo!)
We actually had a great time at Grama's. She always gives us extra belly rubs and scratches us behind out ears. Love that. And the best part was it was so quiet at Grama's house. You know why? Because Grama doesn't go around the house singing like our mom Ava does. Talk about annoying. If we hear Ava singing that new song of hers "Gone" one more time I think our doggie ears will start bleeding, for reals.
Well, Osama Bin Laden is swimming with the Fishes in the North Arabian Sea and we are safe and sound back at home with our Mom Ava. And we had two fun weeks with Grama being spoiled. Life is good.
Blessings,

My First Sold Out Concert
I am so excited about my new web-based cartoon series that I am calling, Ava the Diva.It will give you a glimpse of what life is like behind the velvet ropes of the music industry through the eyes of a total Diva. So everyone will finally get to see what Mr. Bricks is really, really like. Can you believe Mr. Bricks accepted my payment for a concert in McRib sandwiches, instead of cash. See what I am talking about? See what the Greek girl must endure. You try walking a mile in my iron sneaker with old man Bricks around. It is not easy.
This first story of Ava the Diva is in two parts. You will have to wait until next week to see Part 2 and see what happens, you wont believe it!!!!! Trust me when I say there will be plenty of muckery. These new cartoons will be posted on my Youtube channel, as well as you will be able to see them at my new GoAnimate channel:
If you like what you see, you can help me out by spreading the word and sharing the cartoon. It is my hope that this will generate enough interest to be able to have the opportunity to do an Ava the Diva animated series on a TV network.
Enjoy,
Blessings,
Ava

The Magic of Three's
There is something magical about the number 3.
- There are 3 strikes in baseball and the number of outs per side each inning
- 3 Musketeers is Mr. Bricks' favorite candy bar
- When bowling 3 strikes in a row it is called a Turkey
- Several cities are known as Tripoli which is a Greek word which means "3 Cities"
- There were 3 Amigos
- 3 was the number Babe Ruth wore on his jersey
- Mr. Bricks also likes Babe Ruth Candy bars
- There are 3 main religions in the world - Christianity, Judaism and Islam
- There are Three Wise Men in the Bible
- A triathlon consists of three events: swimming, bicycling, and ends in running.
- There was a 70's rock band called Three Dog Night, not Four Dog Night (just sayin')
- My first iPhone was 3G
- There are three films or novels in a trilogy
- A Basketball shot made from behind the 3-point arc is worth 3 points. Duh, Winner
- I once was 3-years old
- Musically speaking, there are three notes in a triad, the basic form of any chord
- There were Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and Three Bears, and Three Blind Mice
When I started writing this blog I asked around for advice. I was told over and over again that I should always try to use three examples in each blog to make a point. I was told that it helps the reader see the picture I am trying to paint with my words.
I also remember once reading a book on marketing that said when there is the juxtaposition of a series of three events happening in a short period of time that it has a special magical effect on the intended target audience.
So I also try to use the concept of the magic of three's when it comes to pushing my own career. I have come to realize that in everything I do for my career things just seems to work better when I have three events happening in a very short period of time. It's like before the hype of the first event can die down then along comes the second event, which props up people's attention for the first one which might have started to wane. Then before the attention of either the first or second event can be totally forgotten from people's noggin, here comes the Greek girl once again popping up in the media for the third time in a short period of time. I guess you can run, but you can't hide from this blond girl.
Now if I can just get my manager Mr. Bricks to get me these three things:
- A record deal
- TV series (comedy series of course)
- A book deal
Blessings,
Ava
