With the episode "Mr. Monk Is Underwater", 'Monk' had several mentions of NCIS during the investigation into a suicide aboard a submarine that turned out to be murder. O'Bviously none of the actors from the CBS series 'NCIS' were on hand, and more than likely none of those characters played any role in the investigation - except for maybe those in the lab who would have tested the gun, etc.Nevertheless, although it may not be a crossover and is kind of fuzzy around the edges, it does serve to point out that both shows do share the same universe.
