I was riding in the car with my daughter this evening and she asked if I would read her a book tonight. I told her I would. And then I told her that one day when she was a little older I would read her a really great book called the Hobbit. I told her that it was about a little Hobbit that went on a long trip to fight a dragon.
She asked me "did the hoppit have a sword, daddy?"
And so I told her how he did have a sword named Sting. She liked that the sword had a name.
Then she hit me with the comedy gold.
"Why does he like to hop so much, daddy?"
